For those of you that aren’t familiar, Razer is one of those well-known names, especially in the gaming community. For years, they have created many award winning products, like gaming headsets, keyboards, mice and more. They even made some pretty cool stuff in regards to mobile technology and systems, but now, they’re back to making keyboards, starting with the Ornata Chroma.

Mid-Height Keykaps
The mid-height keycaps are a big hit and in our opinion, one of the best features in this keyboard. The custom designed keycap makes it so that your keys guide across the keys, without even missing a single stroke. The keycaps are nothing like the traditional keycaps – they’re about half the height and with each press, you don’t need to put as much weight. With the shorter caps, basically, you’ll be able to type faster, without making as many mistakes.
Wrist Rest
With this, you also have a padded wrist wrest – to be exact it’s almost 3.5 inches deep. The wrist wrest easily connects to the front of the keyboard and will give your wrists a place to rest. With the wrist rest, regardless of how long or intense those gaming sessions are, the user will be comfortable.
Razer Chroma Backlighting
When it comes to displaying lighting effects, Chroma obviously knows how to do it right – there’s over 16.8 million customizable color options available with this keyboard. The interactive in-game effects make it so that the individual can really immerge into their gameplay as the keyboard will be reacting to their game.
10-Key Roll Over
When in gaming mode, there’s a 10-key roll over, so you’re never going to miss a single key, or shall we say, 10. The Razer Ornata has built in anti-ghosting technology that allows the user to execute up to a total of ten commands all at one time.

At the time of writing this review, on Amazon, there were a total of 318 reviewers giving this product a total of 4.3 stars out of a possible 5.0 stars. Out of curiosity, we scrolled through to find out what people liked about the keyboard. During this time, we found the following: “I have never been this pleased with a keyboard,” “the feel of the keyboard is exactly what I’ve been wanting,” “Mecha-membrane is awesome” and “the design is clean and sleek.” Then, we clicked on the one star feedback to see what type of negative reviews it received. There was a complaint about the gaming and macro logo not lighting up – this is either a defective product or the user is doing something wrong. Either way, if there’s an issue with a product, Razer is the type of company that will replace it.
Conclusion
All in all, we believe the Razer Ornata Chroma is a great keyboard. If you have a pc gamer/tech lover and you have been looking for a good Christmas present for them, then this one right here would be a great option.
