When Christmas rolls around the corner (it’ll be here before you know it), you’ll want to put up some Christmas decorations. We don’t know about you, but we feel there’s something special about being able to decorate our house with all kinds of neat lights and figurines. Each year, we like to add something new to our collection of Christmas decorations and with all of the beautiful decorations out there, it’s hard to find that one that stands out from the crowd. Not too long ago, we discovered the Three Kings Gifts – the Original Gifts of Christmas Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh Standard Box, Set of 3 and today, we’re here to tell you why it stands out from the crowd.
About the Decoration
This is the type of decoration that will bring the Gifts of the Magi to life right before your eyes. What’s really cool about this gift/decoration would be the fact that it is real gold – it’s 23 karats. It comes from the same regions as the gifts that were brought to baby Jesus on the first Christmas. The wooden chest is lined with lovely satin that does a great job at capturing the beauty of the gifts.
Frankincense Box
The Frankincense box really stands out as it’s lined with what appears to be hand-made brass angels and it just so happens to be filled with top notch Frankincense. Looking at the base and the lid, we find that it is also lined with satin. The box measures 4 ½ x 3 ¼ inches.
The Gold Box
The octagonal gold box can be seen holding a hand-blown glass ball that is filled with 23 karat gold flaks – what’s cool about this scene is the fact that those gold flakes are floating like snowflakes, and is something we really admire.
A lot of work was obviously put into making the ball. It has multiple curved surfaces that does a great job at refracting and reflecting the gold in a way that makes it sparkle and dance. This box measures 3 ¾ x 3 ¾ inches.
Myrrh Box
The square Myrrh box is another box that is lined with satin and has a brass chain and latch that is responsible for holding the Arabian myrrh incense. This box measures 4 ¼ x 3 ¼ inches.
Gold Embossed Display Card
Also with this set, you’ll find an interesting gold embossed display card. On this card, you will be able to read the story of the Original Gifts of Christmas. There’s also a Certificate of Authenticity that tells you that the gold is real and the myrrh and frankincense are pure and are from the same regions as the gifts that were first brought to the baby Jesus on Christmas.

At the time of writing this review, there were a total of 71 people reviewing this product on Amazon. This product received 4.6 stars out of a possible 5.0 stars. Looking through the reviews and finding phrases like “this is a pretty neat product,” “I loved this,” “This is an elegant addition,” and “this really surprised me,” it is obvious that people were satisfied with this product. This product hasn’t received anything below 3 stars. One reviewer that gave the product 3 stars said how they wish the boxes were bigger. However, we feel that if they were bigger, it wouldn’t blend in good with some of the other Christmas decorations. We personally believe the size is perfect.
Conclusion
These three boxes combined is a great way for you to start a brand new Christmas Tradition. Each year, you can put these boxes on display. We personally feel displaying them with a nice Nativity Set would bring a new meaning to the overall look.
